Download PLECS

Download the PLECS Blockset Package

If you would like to use PLECS with MATLAB/Simulink then download PLECS Blockset. However, if you would like to use PLECS as a standalone solution then download PLECS Standalone.

Running PLECS Blockset requires MATLAB and Simulink on your system. The table below shows the platforms and MATLAB versions currently supported by PLECS Blockset. Download the appropriate file and follow the installation instructions. If you are unsure whether you need the 32-bit or 64-bit package for your operating system, enter the command mexext in MATLAB.

The packages include all files for the following PLECS products; your license file determines which products will be enabled:

  • PLECS Blockset
  • PLECS Blockset Viewer
  • PLECS Coder
  • PLECS PIL

N.B. PLECS Blockset does not support Hardware in the loop (HIL) modelling. This requires PLECS Standalone and an RT Box.

Platform MATLAB version File
Windows 32-bit 7.4 .. 9.0 plecs-blockset-4-0-2_win32.exe
Windows 64-bit 7.4 .. 9.0 plecs-blockset-4-0-2_win64.exe
Mac / Intel 32-bit 7.4 .. 7.10 plecs-blockset-4-0-2_win64.exe
Mac / Intel 64-bit 7.9 .. 9.0 plecs-blockset-4-0-2_maci64.tar.gz
Linux / Intel 64-bit 7.4 .. 9.0 plecs-blockset-4-0-2_linux64.tar.gz

Download PLECS Standalone

The table shows the platforms currently supported by PLECS Standalone. Download the appropriate package file and follow the install instructions. The packages include all files for the following PLECS products; your license file determines which products will be enabled:

  • PLECS Standalone
  • PLECS Coder
  • PLECS Processor in the loop (PIL)
  • PLECS Hardware in the loop (HIL)*

*HIL requires an RT Box.
