Wirewound Resistors

Heine wire-wound tube and frame resistors incorporate low inductive design into a variety of packages. These resistors are available with thermal switches and as completely custom designs, see below for some example parts and datasheets.   • Resistance coils – which can also be designed to be low-inductance – are attached to ceramic tubes of various diameters. Clips that also act as electrical connections are used for securing the resistance wire at either end of the coil.
  • Frames are made from electrically insulating or metallic materials – remaining firmly supported and fixed even at higher temperature.
