Dielectric Advancement Expanding Ceramic Capacitor Options

TY1_TY2_TY4 Series

PPM Power has further expanded the range of ceramic capacitors from Dean Technologies as they continue to invest in high voltage capacitor technology. The expansion sees the introduction of the new TY2 Series Y6P class II ceramic capacitor dielectric.

With a high dielectric constant, low dissipation factor and exceptional stability across a broad temperature spectrum, the Y6P material is designed to meet the demands of critical projects requiring reliability and efficiency.

The Y6P capacitors offer an extensive range of specifications to cater to diverse project needs. Capacitance values range from 100 pF to 3200 pF, with standard tolerances of ±20 %. The voltage ratings span from 3 to 20 kVDC, allowing for flexibility in design and application. Furthermore, these capacitors can operate flawlessly over a wide temperature range, from -30 to +105 °C, demonstrating their adaptability to various environmental conditions.

The Y6P material adheres to stringent environmental standards, compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations.
