Brass cases with nickel plating provide five-sided shielding, which contributes to very low output ripple and noise. The low output ripple means less external filtering is required for applications sensitive to EMI (electromagnetic interference).

Programmable Output Voltage
The output can be programmed using an external voltage supply or potentiometer, so remote adjustment is possible. The output can be adjusted from 0.5% to 100% of the rated voltage.
The compact package size of the CHVM package means less board area is needed. Three sizes cover power levels from 1.4 W to 3 W and output voltages of 180 V to 2 kV:
- CHVM1R5 (1.4 and 1.5 W), measuring 44 x 16 x 30 mm (WxLxH)
- CHVM2 and CHVM2R6 (2 and 2.6 W), measuring 110 x 12 x 19.75 mm
- CHVM2R5, CHVM2R7 and CHVM3 (2.5, 2.7 and 3 W), measuring 80 x 12 x 19.75mm.
