Pre-Charge Resistors
These premium high-power resistors are typically used as power distribution units to charge the DC-Link capacitors. They can withstand with high pulse energies, and up to 1000 V. The ohmic value, energy rating, mechanical design and electrical connection can also be customised to meet specific requirements.
- Excellent isolation performance
- High overload capability
- AEC-Q200 compliant
- Recyclable

Discharge Resistors
Discharging resistors are used to discharge the DC link capacitors after an electric
car has been switched off. They are mostly used in inverters. They deliver high isolation rating and high average power capability in a much smaller package than standard wire wound resistors, thus saving in weight and size. All discharge resistors with heat sink mount can be equipped with phase change material for a low Rth and stable thermal connection.
- Small and lightweight
- Mounts to heat sinks
- Vibration and pulse resistant
- AEC-Q200 compliant
- Customised electrical connection
